  • Birth and Death Certificates
    The Office of Vital Records registers births and deaths; provides birth and death certificates and burial permits; analyzes the data on birth and death certificates.
  • CAReTeam Integrated Services
    The Community Advocacy Resource/Education (CARe) Team provides a wide range of harm reduction and direct client support services such as Hepatitis C and HIV education, prevention, linkage and navigation and case management and free testing at HSA clinics and in the community. 
  • Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
    The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) is a state mandated program to identify and medically manage elevated child blood lead level cases, develop programs to educate the public and health care providers, and adopt regulations governing the cleanup of lead paint in housing. 
  • Children's Medical Services
    Provides health examinations, rehabilitation services, and follow-up medical treatment for children who are low-income or have Medi-Cal, and are eligible for the California Children Services (CCS), and Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) programs. 
  • Communicable Disease Control
    Information about various communicable diseases and how to report them, medical provider information and immunization information.
  • Community Health Education
    Programs include: tobacco education, safe and active transportation, oral health, nutrition education, and the medical marijuana identification card program.
  • Emergency Medical Services
    Oversight and administration of the Emergency Medical Response System including disaster preparedness working to establish emergency service priorities. 
  • Emergency Preparedness
    Emergency Preparedness builds capacity for a coordinated countywide response to medical and health emergencies through planning, training, and incident response. The Health Care Coalition (HCC) leads a countywide effort to support and enable a disaster-resilient healthcare system.
  • Family Health Programs
    Public Health Nurses (PHNs) collaborate with community partners to improve maternal, child, and adolescent health, and access to care by providing assessments, education, and linkages to resources. 
  • Immunizations
    Child/Adult Immunization resources, programs, services, and education.
